SimplexGrinnell and our employees have a long record of active participation in the fire and life-safety industry and the communities where we work and live. We participate at a corporate level in code-setting associations and also encourage our employees to be leaders in local chapters of those vitally important organizations. While we have built scores of important relationships over the years, we continually strive to expand and enhance our industry and community relations efforts. For example, through our in-house Women’s Growth Network we recently established collaborative relationships with the Professional Women in Construction (PWC) and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). We are expanding our long-standing relationship with the United Way to embrace United Way Youth Venture – a youth-driven program known for strengthening communities and building a new generation of leaders. Our community focus is similarly reflected in the commitment that our local offices and individual employees make to bettering the life-safety industry and supporting ongoing fire-safety and prevention efforts. It’s all part of our belief that a leader such as SimplexGrinnell has a responsibility to give back to our industry and our communities.
