Alan Butler
is the Director of Operations and Consulting at HSS Inc., of
Denver, Colorado, a leading outsourcing company with highly regarded programs in healthcare security and security systems integration. He has 30 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in the public and private sectors. He has worked as the director of security for prestigious healthcare organizations such as the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, HCA/Medical City Dallas Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He has worked in both for-profi t and not-for-profi t hospitals, and managed proprietary and contract security forces. A frequently requested speaker on healthcare security issues, Alan has published numerous articles on Infant Security and Emergency Department violence.

Brian O’Rourke, National Suppression Operations Manager at SimplexGrinnell, has over 20 years of experience in fire suppression and emergency lighting. He is a longtime instructor within the SimplexGrinnell business on emergency lights and portable fire extinguishers. He brings in-depth knowledge and a strong commitment to life-safety protection to his national role in supporting emergency lighting as well as fire suppression systems and services.

Presenters: 
Terry Victor, National Manager of Sprinkler Business Processes at SimplexGrinnell, has over 36 years of technical experience in the sprinkler industry. He serves on various industry boards and committees, including the NICET Fire Protection Advisory Group, represents SimplexGrinnell on the NFSA Contractors Council, and is current chairman of the NFSA Engineering & Standards Committee. He is a member of several NFPA technical committees, including those for NFPA 13, NFPA 13D, NFPA 13R, NFPA 20 and NFPA 25. 

Frank Monikowski, Fire Sprinkler and Special Hazards Marketing Manager  at SimplexGrinnell, has over 37 years of experience in the Fire Protection field. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association, the Society of Fire Protection Engineers, the American Fire Sprinkler Association and the National Fire Sprinkler Association. He is also a past Board of Directors member for Associated Builders and Contractors. In addition, Frank serves on the NFPA 804, 805, and 806 Standards committee for Fire protection for Nuclear Facilities.
