The new Simplex® 4004R Suppression Releasing Panel is a first line of defense in the event of a fire or hazardous situation. This new panel is specifically designed for suppressing fires in high-risk environments.
Operation
The main function of the 4004R panel is to detect a fire via automatic means (smoke or heat detectors) or manual means (pull stations). The 4004R panel controls the release of extinguishing agents (Inergen, FM-200, CO2, etc.) or water to suppress the fire. The panel also provides notification to all occupants for evacuation and investigation purposes, using multiple cadence patterns that provide an intuitive Audible Escalation of Events.
Easy Installation
A key feature of the 4004R is its ease of installation. System configuration is simplified through the use of "canned" templates. These templates simplify installation and minimize the potential for programming errors.

- UL, ULC, CSFM listed, FM approved compliant preaction/deluge sprinkler or extinguishing release service for single and dual hazard applications
- Compatible with FM-approved automatic water control valves groups, A, B, C, D, E, F,G & H
- Embedded programming for (9) suppression release applications (preaction/deluge sprinkler or agent release, single or dual hazard, cross-zone or no-cross zone.)
- Temperature compensated battery charger capable of charging up to 12.7 Ah batteries
- Open and short circuit supervision on releasing appliance circuits
- Capable of protecting single or dual hazard applications
- Service port for terminal emulation programming and history log retrieval
- Event historical log
