The Simplex 4100 addressable analog system stands out because it's the first system with
Global Addressability true end-to-end intelligence for both initiating devices
and notification appliances featuring TrueAlarm® analog sensing technology and
TrueAlert addressable fire notification appliances.
The 4100 system offers unparalleled value and return on investment. 4100's global addressability
and intelligence ensures reduced testing, maintenance, and expansion cost, over the entire life cycle
of your system. Our advanced TrueAlarm addressable analog smoke sensing technology offers T-Tap wiring,
outstanding early warning detection of hostile smoke in its incipient stage (considerably faster than
is possible with conventional smoke detectors), automatic drift compensation (which enables detectors
to maintain their original sensitivity over time despite the accumulation of dirt in the chamber),
peak value logging (a unique SimplexGrinnell feature that minimizes nuisance alarms by enabling customers to
set the sensitivity to coincide with the fire risk) and automatic smoke detector cleaning warnings
(which enables the control panel to identify individual sensors that need to be cleaned.). SimplexGrinnell's
TrueAlert addressable notification appliance technology is the first in the industry to offer global
addressability, T-Tap notification appliance circuit wiring, intelligent notification appliance
communications, advanced diagnostics, local area notification appliance testing, and virtual notification
appliance circuit programming.
The 4100 is capable of supporting up to 1,000 addressable points for pinpointing the precise location
of an alarm or fault. The 4100 may function as a stand-alone system or as a modular unit linked in a
network. The 4100 fire alarm panel is UL and ULC Listed, FM, CSFM and MEA Approved, and complies with
EN 54, the new European functional fire detection standard.
