AUTOCALL^® 600 Series smoke detectors include both conventional ionization and photoelectronic detectors. Their small size and design make them an ideal choice for installations where aesthetics are a consideration. Four-inch and six-inch bases are available.

Under standby conditions, the detector's red LED flashes approximately every 10 seconds. When an alarm threshold is exceeded, the LED lights steadily. A separate terminal on the base provides a voltage output for connection to a remote LED. Wiring connections are non-polarized for ease of installation, unless the remote LED output is used.

For convenient testing, 600 Series detector bases feature a push button that allows detector heads to be mounted in a "park" position, and wiring to be tested without removing the detector head from the base. Detector heads can be locked into position with an optional device. All testing and maintenance functions can be performed from the floor, reducing service time and expense.
