Using unique detection principles, VESDA LaserPLUS^® Detector Units provide a sensitivity range of 0.0015 to 6% smoke obscuration per foot (0.005 to 20% obscuration per meter). The result is fire detection at the earliest possible stage, with reliable measurement of very low to extremely high concentrations of smoke.

The VESDA LaserPLUS Display Module provides a real-time indication of the status of the detector unit. It features a 20-segment vertical bar graph, a two-digit numerical display, an audible sounder, and clear alarm and fault indicators. Four buttons control the detector and mode of the display.

System parameters are set or modified using the VESDA LaserPLUS Programmer Module. Intuitive menu screens make commissioning and maintenance of the system both convenient and efficient. The Programmer Module accesses the settings for individual detectors and displays, and is also used for configuration and maintenance of many detectors in a VESDAnet^® network
