Our RoamAlert® systems are specially designed to meet the needs of elder care facilities. Both systems enhance the safety of residents using an unobtrusive transponder technology that alerts facility staff to a resident leaving the monitored area. Nurses and staff can take swift action to avert an incident. The systems can also be used to block a resident's entry into restricted or hazardous areas. Many facilities integrate RoamAlert systems with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) that allows immediate observation and recording of events in process.

• RoamAlert ECO is our entry-level, value-priced system that provides portal protection and alarming using durable, long-life wrist or ankle band transponders.
• RoamAlert ID systems add the ability to identify the individual wearing the transponder. They can interface with a printer for the purpose of creating an event log, and also with pocket pagers to alert mobile staff members to an event.

Either system can interface with magnetic door locks that engage when a resident with a transponder is nearby. In addition, custom Elevator Protection Kits are available for RoamAlert systems. Sensors mounted in the elevator car detect the presence of a resident wearing a transponder and disable the car until the resident exits or a staff member bypasses the system.
