SimplexGrinnell Announces GSA Contract for Fire and Security Products
Agreement Helps US Federal Agencies Purchase
Leading Fire Detection, Fire Alarm and Integrated Security Products
HOUSTON, Texas and WESTMINSTER, Massachusetts (August 9, 2002) -
SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco Fire and Security and a
leader in fire protection, integrated security and healthcare
communications, today announced an agreement with the General Services
Administration (GSA) for the supply of its fire and security products.
The new GSA agreement (contract number GS-07F-0396M), covers fire
detection, fire alarm and integrated security products, including
Simplex® TrueAlarm® Detection Systems, Simplex TrueAlert™
Notification Appliances, Simplex Fire Alarm Control Panels and
Systems, the Simplex iSecure™ Pro Security Management System, and the
Software House C-Cure® Access Control System. Details on these products

"This latest GSA agreement for our fire and security products
enables government agencies to purchase our industry leading products
faster and more cost effectively," says John Harding, Government

step further, we plan to expand our offerings under this GSA agreement
to eventually include portable fire extinguishers and sprinkler

SimplexGrinnell holds additional GSA agreements for Fire Alarm Service
(GS-07P-99-HTD0005), Nurse Call/Patient Response Products
(GS-27F-0026M) and Time Solutions Products (GS-25F-0165M), as well as
GSA resale agreements for CCTV products, including Pelco
(GS-03F-4079B) and Extreme CCTV (GS-07F-0289K).
