SimplexGrinnell Announces Significant Additions to GSA Fire and Security Agreement
Additions Help US Federal Agencies
Procure Sprinkler, Suppression and Emergency Notification Systems
WESTMINSTER, Massachusetts (July 14, 2003) - SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco Fire & Security, today announces significant improvements to the General Services Administration (GSA) agreement that gives federal agencies ready access to its industry-leading fire and security products. SimplexGrinnell is North America's leading integrated fire and life-safety provider.
The new additions expand the agreement to include best-in-class sprinkler, suppression and emergency mass notification systems (and associated labor rates for installation); portable fire extinguishers; CCTV; time clocks; and the portable STI-CIS Speech Intelligibility Analyzer for measuring the intelligibility of emergency voice evacuation systems.
The GSA agreement (contract number GS-07F-0396M) also covers fire detection, fire alarm and integrated security products, including Simplex® TrueAlarm® Detection Systems, Simplex TrueAlert™ Notification Appliances, Simplex Fire Alarm Control Panels and Systems, the Simplex iSecure™ Pro Security Management System, and the Software House C-Cure® Access Control System.
