Salt Lake City, UTAH (May 23, 2004) - Firefighters risk their lives to protect the lives of others. On those occasions when a firefighter makes the ultimate sacrifice while answering the call of duty, families are often left behind to cope with the loss. That's where Firefighters National Trust steps in: It's a national organization founded by a group of firefighters to help meet the emotional and financial needs of those left behind.
At this year's NFPA World Safety Conference & Exposition , SimplexGrinnell and other Tyco companies - partners to the firefighting community because of the fire protection products and services they provide - are supporting Firefighters National Trust.
