Frost & Sullivan Honors SimplexGrinnell's Comprehensive Product and Service Offerings

Palo Alto, Calif. (January 24, 2005) - Frost & Sullivan's recent study, North American Fire Alarm Services Market, acknowledges SimplexGrinnell's exceptional leadership in being a 'one-stop source' for various life safety and building safety systems. SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco Fire & Security, offers quality systems and services for fire alarm, fire sprinkler and fire suppression applications.

For its sound marketing innovation in the fire alarm maintenance services market, SimplexGrinnell is presented with the Frost & Sullivan 2004 Market Leadership Award. This award is presented annually to the company that has substantially increased its market share by implementing superior market engineering strategies and developing solutions to monitor market changes. In fact, the company's revenue growth rate of 7.0 percent from fire alarm maintenance services exceeded the 5.0 percent growth rate of the entire industry in 2003.
