Boca Raton, Fla. (Feb 25, 2005) - SimplexGrinnell, a business unit of Tyco Fire & Security and a leader in fire and life-safety systems and services, announced today that it has been selected by Hilton Hotels Corporation to provide fire alarm systems to five premier Hilton Hotels, including the world-renown Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
The multi-million dollar contract calls for SimplexGrinnell to design and install Simplex 4100U fire detection and alarm systems in the Waldorf-Astoria, the Hilton Washington in Washington, D.C., the Hilton Back Bay in Boston, and two Hilton hotels in Northern Virginia.
