 Capabilities
The Integrated Security Systems Group is deployed in regional teams throughout the United States and provides resources to all SimplexGrinnell's areas of operation. Each regional team features a broad-based complement of technical, organizational, and sales expertise to help successfully sell, configure, design, deliver, and support all integrated security system projects. The following list outlines the many support services the Integrated Security Systems Group provides to both SimplexGrinnell district offices and to our customers.
- Assessing a customer's risks and vulnerabilities
- Reviewing customer specifications
- Assisting in the development of customer proposals
- Conducting building site-surveys
- Meeting with a customer's IT department to explain how security systems integrate within LAN and WAN
- Assisting districts in the development of project delivery plans
- Performing off-site pre-installation system administrator training for the customer
- Providing application programming support for new and existing installations
- Assisting in the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of integrated security projects
- Performing on-site post-installation system administrator and operator training
- Helping in the development of comprehensive integrated security service agreements

- Designing and developing access badges
- Performing recurring administrator and operator training
- Developing graphical maps for existing and expanding security system installations
